Celebrate a traditional Scottish Christmas at Glenfinnan House, where we have created a wonderfully decadent package that will allow you to enjoy a tranquil yet fun filled three-day break.
A rolling lawn meets the shore of Loch Shiel where Glenfinnan House stands in its unique position across the bay from the National Trust for Scotland monument to Bonnie Prince Charlie.
Start your break on Christmas Eve relaxing in the drawing room, by a roaring fire and enjoy a Cream Tea. We begin the evening with a ‘Bubbly’ reception, followed by a candle-lit four course dinner. Hot toddies and mince pies will be served to guests returning from midnight mass.
Wake up on Christmas Day to a stocking outside your door and a glass of Bucks Fizz, followed by breakfast. From 12.30pm our superb Christmas Lunch will be served at your booked time, preceded by a Prosecco reception. In the afternoon, everyone can enjoy games, unwrap presents or put their feet up and snooze. We can provide walking maps too for those feeling energetic. In the evening we will serve our delicious cold buffet supper for those still feeling peckish.
Rise at your leisure for brunch on Boxing Day then relax in the hotel and grounds. For those of you brave enough, take part in the annual Boxing Day Dip in the Loch! Afternoon Tea will be served in the lounge from 2.30pm and, in the evening, we have a Champagne Reception followed by a sumptuous three course dinner served in our dining room from 6.30pm.
On 27th enjoy your last full Scottish breakfast with us, before departure.
