Celebrate Christmas in true Scottish style at Glenfinnan House, where our carefully curated three-day festive retreat blends warmth, indulgence, and seasonal charm. Nestled on the shores of Loch Shiel, our historic house enjoys a unique setting across the bay from the National Trust for Scotland’s monument to Bonnie Prince Charlie, offering breathtaking views and a truly magical atmosphere.

Settle in on Christmas Eve and unwind by the roaring fire in our elegant drawing room, where a delightful cream tea awaits. As the evening unfolds, raise a glass at our Prosecco reception, followed by a candlelit three-course dinner, specially prepared by our talented chefs. Guests returning from midnight mass will be greeted with mulled wine and mince pies, ensuring a cosy and festive end to the night.

Wake up to find a Christmas stocking waiting outside your door before enjoying a leisurely Highland breakfast. From 12:30pm, our magnificent Christmas Lunch will be served at your reserved time, beginning with a Champagne reception. Spend the afternoon at your own pace - play games, exchange gifts, or simply relax by the fire. For those feeling adventurous, we provide walking maps to explore the beautiful surroundings. Later in the evening, enjoy a relaxed cold buffet supper, perfect for those with room for a little more festive indulgence.

After a leisurely brunch, take time to explore the hotel and grounds or, for the truly adventurous, join the annual Boxing Day Dip in Loch Shiel - a bracing tradition for the bold at heart! In the afternoon, warm up with Afternoon Tea in the lounge from 2:30pm, before gathering for a Prosecco reception. The evening concludes with a sumptuous three-course dinner in our dining room, providing the perfect finale to your festive retreat.

Savour one final full Scottish breakfast before bidding farewell to Glenfinnan, leaving with cherished memories of a truly special Highland Christmas.

• To secure a room at Glenfinnan House we ask for a 50% non-refundable deposit upon reservation with the final 50% non-refundable payment made by 31st October 2025.
• Please note that our cancellation policy is 60 days prior to arrival, should you wish to amend or cancel your reservation prior this time, you will forfeit the deposit made up to this point. Reservations cancelled within 60 days of arrival are liable to be charged the full cost of the stay.  It is advisable that you cover yourself with travel indemnity.
• Rates quoted are all per room based on 2 guests sharing, unless stated otherwise above, and are inclusive of all meals and activities within the three-night package outlined above and VAT.

Ring in the New Year with a spectacular Hogmanay retreat at Glenfinnan House, where we’ve designed a luxurious three-day package that blends relaxation, celebration, and Scottish charm. Set on the shores of Loch Shiel, Glenfinnan House boasts breathtaking views across the water to the National Trust for Scotland’s monument to Bonnie Prince Charlie, offering a truly unique and picturesque setting for your festive escape.

Arrive on the 30th December 2025 and unwind with a cream tea in the drawing room, by a warm roaring fire. As the evening approaches, enjoy a Prosecco reception, followed by a candlelit three-course dinner to start your Hogmanay celebrations in style.

Start the last day of the year with a leisurely breakfast before spending the morning as you please. A light lunch will be served in the afternoon as you prepare for the evening’s grand festivities. The evening begins with a Champagne reception, followed by our glamorous Black-Tie New Year Gala Dinner. After dinner, enjoy an evening filled with music and dancing, the perfect way to welcome in 2026.

After a relaxed brunch, the day is yours to enjoy at your own pace. For the adventurous, take part in the annual New Year’s Day Dip in Loch Shiel - a bracing tradition for those who want to start the year with a splash! From 2:30pm, indulge in Afternoon Tea in the lounge, followed by a sumptuous three-course dinner in our dining room from 6:30pm.
